The project began by training an AI on a database of fashion history, blogs and novels by French criminal and social outcast turned writer Jean Genet. Rous D'Alenciennes is the name the AI gave himself. Its output text is a balance of absurdity and meaning.
This short 3D animated video was inspired by the text of Rous D'Alenciennes. Blurring the boundaries between fashion and the human form, it invites the viewers to contemplate the intricate relationships between fashion, identity, and culture.
